Golden Milk

4 cups filtered water
3 inch piece of fresh turmeric, peeled and sliced
3 inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
2 cans of full fat coconut milk
2 cinnamon sticks
1 tsp coconut oil

1. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Place the ginger and turmeric in the pot and bring to a simmer. Let simmer gently for 20 minutes.

2. Add the coconut milk and cinnamon sticks. Let that simmer gently for another 20 minutes.

3. At the very end, add in the coconut oil. Stir and let it melt. Serve warm with a sprinkle of cinnamon. You can also drink it cold!

Store in the fridge for up to 4 days.
