Tulsi Ginger Tea

If you’re looking for something refreshing to drink, but you’re tired of water, try this recipe for Ginger Tulsi tea!

The ginger is great for digestion, and the tulsi is great to help regulate blood sugar, hormone levels, and even cortisol levels!

Here is what you will need:

12 cups of filtered water
1 handful of fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
1 tulsi tea bag, original flavor

1. Bring the water to a boil. Once boiling, add in the ginger. Reduce the heat to a simmer, and let the water and ginger simmer together for about 15-20 minutes.

2. Strain the ginger out of the water using a colander placed over a large bowl. Toss the ginger away, and let 1 bag of tulsi tea steep in the ginger water for 3-5 minutes.

3. Serve hot or cold. I tend to have a cup of warm tea, and then put the rest in the fridge to cool. That way, it’s always on hand for me to drink whenever I’m feeling thirsty!
