Mango Maca Smoothie
I've been on a smoothie kick these days, particularly because of this insane heat wave here in California!
And the best way to make a smoothie is to add extra nutrients to it to make it all the more nutritious!
This smoothie not only has maca powder in it to give you a boost in energy and a dose of protein, but it also has some moringa powder which is said to help balance blood sugar and lower bad cholesterol, some turmeric for inflammation and your immune system, and some flax meal for extra Omega 3's.
The turmeric gives it a different flavor profile, so if you're not a fan of turmeric, feel free to leave it out.
